Project Spotlight: Luxurious Granny Flat on Whites Road, Buderim

At Resi Homes, we are proud to showcase our latest award-winning custom build on Whites Road in Buderim, a true reflection of craftsmanship and creativity. This project had no rigid brief, allowing us to explore innovative design concepts and seamlessly blend them into a single, luxurious granny flat.

This modern Queenslander Cottage-inspired auxiliary dwelling defies expectations of typical secondary dwellings. Its standout features include a striking metal-clad ceiling on the patio and a raked ceiling that creates a sense of openness. The spacious kitchen and laundry areas are cleverly designed to maximise functionality, proving that luxury and efficiency can coexist, even in a compact space.

Inside, the dwelling boasts two generously sized bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom. The wet room is an oasis of indulgence, featuring double rainwater showerheads and a freestanding stone bath, highlighted by glow-in-the-dark pebbled stones set into polished concrete floors. Above the ensuite, an oversized 3mx3m glass roof lets you gaze at the stars from the comfort of the bathroom.

The outdoor area continues the theme of relaxation and luxury. A cozy fire pit is surrounded by custom alloy posts designed for creeping vines, while French-pattern tiled walkways lead to a serene spa and sauna. The spacious lounge flows effortlessly onto the large outdoor patio, complete with a built-in barbecue area—perfect for hosting memorable gatherings in the tranquil Sunshine Coast hinterland.

Meticulously landscaped gardens, designed for privacy, and the use of split post fencing complete the project, offering a seamless blend of modern Queenslander style and practical functionality.
